I'm Sick

I'm sick . I mean physically , not mentally . LOL . I feel so bad this morning and I slept throughout the early afternoon . My nose was ' stucked ' and my throat hurt so bad . Anyway , went to meet Cheryl , Roy and Wenjie after that to look for jobs again . We went to Jurong Point first . But the jobs there are all retail fashion .. So we went to eat our dinner then we headed to Dhoby Ghaut . Wanted to look for a job at The Cathay , but there are no more vacancies . SAD . When we were about to leave the place , we actually witnes a fight between a guy and a ' transgender ' women . LOL . They were like shouting profanities like no one's business . Fortunately the fight didn't get TOO bad . The authorities went there to stop them . Haha . Best ' movie ' I've ever watched at Cathay XD After that we went to many more places and finally we filled up a form at GV Plaza Sing . Now have to wait for their call within 3 days . Like at least they said they'll call .. Others are like : " I'll call . " and then they vanished . Haha .We went home after that . Took a bath and I felt so cold .. And my eyeballs are like burning . Haha . So I took my temp . See :   Haha . 38.5 DC . Second time in the year I caught a flu ): Fortunately it's before the trip .. 1 more week ! (: Can't wait . But at the same time , I can't help myself but to feel EMO at the same time . Cos I haven found a job ): Blame it on the financial crisis man . Alrights , I don't feel GOOOOOOD .. I'm goanna sleep . Went to Roy's house today to discuss about the trip first . Then I went for a job hunt again . I saw this particular ad on classified and it says they are hiring 100 'packers' .. Like who the hell know what is packer .. We thought it was just packing some gifts or smt .. Cos it's a company . So Cheryl , Wenjie and I went down to City Hall .So we went in to this room and a lady brief us on the job after filling in applications wadever admin stuffs . She first said that for the 'packers' , it will be at Tampines . So we thought that the company had another office there and we are needed to go there to do some packing . Ok , here's it . She said : " You need to know what to pack , like eggs , watermelon . Then meat must pack with meat . " And we had this " omg , you're telling me that we're going to work in a supermarket as a packer !? " look .. Then we realised that this is a HUMAN RESOURCE COMPANY that helps OTHER COMPANY SOURCE FOR HUMAN RESOURCE .. LIKE WTF . We're intending to reject this job anyway . LOL . After that we went to Peninsula . I got my skull hoodie ! XD After that we went to Northpoint to fill up a job application form at Popular .. Sigh . Still haven found a job yet . Anyway , Esprit is having offer . LOL . We couldn't resist and we went in to get some t-shirts . Haha . I got 2 for myself and 1 for my sis . Went home after that . If not , my pocket would have burnt a large hole .. OMG MY CRAMPS ARE SO FKING PAIN ~ !!!

Okay , I just found out that I have been " retrenched " even before I start work . LOL ! Grrr .. Blame it on the the financial crisis ! Nvm .I slept at 4am last night . Hehe =D I was so hooked to learning how to play Innocence by Avril Lavigne on the piano on Youtube . We rented some horror films and we headed to Roy's house , and this is when we realised about our " retrenchment " . LOL . So Cheryl , Wenjie and I went for our job hunt . We went to Orchard first . Art Friend was our first target .. But they don't have any job vacancies .. SAD . After that we went to Kinokuniya . But the staffs there can't help us and we needed to call the HR department . Here's the conversation with the HR personnel after Cheryl spoke to her : Lady - " Hi . " Me - " Hello . " Lady - " Can I have your name ? " Me - " Samantha . " Lady - " Surname ? " Me - " Chua . " Lady - " Can I have your contact number ? " Me - " 9XXXXXXX . " Lady - " So may I ask if you are also from Admiralty Secondary School ? " Me - " Yea . " Lady - " Do you have any working experience ? " Me - " Er .. Ya . I worked at * laughs * McDonalds before . * giggles * " Lady - " Okay . So is there any days in December which you cannot work ? " Me - " Erm .. Also 4th to 9th of December . " Lady - " Oh .. So you are going an a trip together with Cheryl ? " Me - " Yep . " Lady - " To Hong Kong ? " Me - " Yea . " Lady - " Okay . We'll let you know if you're short-listed for a job by calling you , okay ? " Me - " Alrights . " Lady - " Thank you . " Me - "Thank you . " LOL . After that we went to HMV . But there were also no job vacancies .. We were soooo hungry with all those walking and we decided to fill our stomachs at Cineileisure . Went to Pastamania eventually , after walking about . We sat at Pastamania for like a good 1 and a half hours eating and crapping . Haha . After that we went to Cathay to see if there were job vacancies ( Actually we went there to see if there are any good movies [: ) . LOL . We decided to go to Popular after that to see if there are job vacancies . Okay , so we boarded the train and we started to look at the documents for the Hong Kong Trip . The train was dead silent if weren't for our laughters . Like WTH !! Once we shut up , the entire train becomes quiet . LOL . So embarrassing .. We also had a real funny conversation . Here it goes : Me - " I know a job that we will definately get . " Cheryl - " Ya . Near Aljunied right ? " Me - " Yep . " ( LOL ! ) Cheryl - " Okay , lets go . " Me - " Okay . " Wenjie - * After awhile , realised that we were not going to Aljunied * " EH , I thought we're going to Aljunied ? " Cheryl & I - * Laughs like mad * Wenjie - " What thing ? " Me - " You know Aljunied near where ma ? " Cheryl - " Near Geylang la ! " Wenjie - " Huh .. " * After awhile realised that we were crapping * " OH !!! " All - " Laughs like nobody's business . " Wenjie - " My mother works at Aljunied there . But is not sell body . " Cheryl & I - * LAUGHS * Me - " Like DUH ! You don't have to add the second sentence ! " All - " LAUGHS " Haha . OMG , I really have nothing better to do . LOL ! So we decided to head home . What a day (:

Found some real interesting stuffs at SparkPeople while reseaching . Teehee XDBasal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body needs to perform basic, everyday functions like circulating blood, digesting food, and breathing. SparkPeople uses the Harris Benedict Formula to calculate your BMR, which differs between men and women Female BMR = 655 + (9.6 x weight in kg.) + (1.8 x height in cm.) – (4.7 x age in years) Male BMR = 66 + (13.7 x weight in kg) + (5 x height in cm.) - (6.8 x age in years) Sedentary lifestyle needs: BMR x 1.2 I think I'm exceeding it already .. LOL . Fking FAT . One pound of body fat equals 3,500 calories. Therefore, to drop 1 pound per week, you must create a deficit of 3,500 calories over the course of seven days, which equals 500 calories per day. --- OMG . 20 - 30 mins of jumping jacks helps to lose 300 calories . To lose 500 calories , you need to do 45 mins of jumping jacks ! OMG . Jiayou !! Must cut some fats !! Grrr ..
New Skinny !

I finally got out of my house today ! (: Karen and I went out to discuss some stuffs as well as do some shopping . Hehe . I went to Penisula Plaza to get a pair of skinnys ! (: I think the stuffs there are quite reasonably priced . I got my skinny at 15 bucks , 5 bucks cheaper than the one I bought from blogshop a couple of months ago . After that we sat at Gloria's Jeans for like a few hours drinking a cup of smoothie that cost 7 bucks !?!? OMG . Felt a pinch .. ): After discussing , we went to have our dinner . Then we went to Sunplaza to get some stuffs as well as to borrow some books . I went to get my cardigan first (: Went to take a look at some CDs after that then we went to the library to get some books . Borrowed this book :
Hope it will help on our trip .. But I have yet to read up . I'm doing some research right now so don't say I'm not doing anything for our trip . After that we went to Popular to get a book :
Saw this book a loooooong time ago and finally , Karen decided to "bring it home" (: See that somewhat "checkered-looking" cake ? ( That's what we call it XD ) I hope you can see it .. It's a little small ya . We're challenging ourselves to make that . Haha . Okay , I'm goanna explore both books (: That's all for now .

Finally changed my blogskin ((: I did that outta boredom .. I finished painting my entire house ! XD And .. now I have nothing to do .Found some real cool pictures .     LOL . Nice right ? XD Suicidal Bunny and Riley . Haha . I'm a just little sadistic . But very masochistic !!  NICE !?!? My bleeding finger ! OMG SO DAMN NICE ! Yayness ! I finally bot David Archuleta's album ! XD Love all the tracks ! (:  Finally ! 3/4 of the house is done ! (: Left with one room . Have been painting and cleaning my house for like 3 consecutive days already .. Damn shag . But that's the only way I earn some extra bucks for the time being and my for air ticket to Hong Kong !!! Haha . I'm so bored these days .. Not going to school makes me feel so weird . I think I'm kinda school-sick already . Just thinking how am I going to survive the entire December .. I've been so bored painting the house alone .. I just hope my job starts soon .. And it's 16 days to Hong Kong ! XD I'm so damn excited cos it' my first time travelling with friends . Haha . I heard the weather there is cold , and that's a great thing XD Muahahaha . Alright , I've gotta get some rest and prepare myself for another round of painting tmr . LOL . Sweet dreams .

O'levels are over ! (: Like FINALLY , I don't have to touch any books XD That marks the end of my secondary school journey and that also means I won't get to see most of my friends anymore ): SAD !! This is the only reason why I don't want O'level so end to early ..Two days back we all went for Sonore IV . After Biology Paper 1 , we even went to pop some party poppers outside the school . Haha . Our study group finally got the chance to use the 'fines' we had collected from the members for speaking in MT . We went to catch Madagascar 2 then we headed to Swensons for dinner . After that we went for Sonore IV . After Sonore IV , we went to Roy's house for a movie marathon till the next morning . Haha . But the movies sucked . First show , no subtitiles and we don't understand wad they're talking . Second and third shows were artistic films .. Dunno wad the hell they're talking about .. We went for breakfast in the morning tgt then we headed home to sleep . Freaking tired . This morning , I went to buy some paint with mom . We're goanna re-paint the whole house . Wenjie , Roy , Peilian and Karen also came to help me paint XD Hee . We took like 6 full hours to paint my room and half the living room . I've got lots to paint for the next few days .. Thank you everyone ! Dead beat after the painting ..  Wenjie and Karen painting my room ((:  The paint for the door was not odourless and it was so reeking that we had to put on a mask XD Peilian is feeding me 'Pocky' LOL ~  My painting gang (: that guy covering his whole face is roy ...
