I'm back ! [ Okay , Lame ] After opening all my presents . Haha . THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GIFTS GUYS !! I SIMPLY LOVED IT !! Okay , I'm goanna share what I've received for this year's Christmas [: -----

Karen , thanks for the pillow and the MYUK pouch . I really needed a pillow ! Haha . I've got famous amos cookies from Peilian and a box of chocolates from Wenjie [: Hey , you guys want me to get fat issit ? Haha . Just kidding ! I loved those ! [: And I got a Mickey mug from Joanna and a cute Japanese mug from Aunt Elsie . Right .. I don't think I'm goanna use any of those . They're so pretty and with my butter fingers , it'll definitely ' piank ' one day .. So .. Kitchen isn't a good place for them . The display shelf rather . Haha . Okay .. I got a Mickey snowglobe from Tangjie [: Hee . Thanks , I loved that . Also , I got a cute paw handphone accessory from Keqi [: Loved that too . I'm goanna use it [: AND last but not least , roy got me two necklaces that is sooooo freaking cool ! A sneaker and a pair of shades . Omg , I really needed that . Wearing that tie too often . Haha . So .. Thank you , once again . Hope you guys liked the gifts I had for you [: I love boxing day !

BUT , I still had a mundane X'mas this year , though ]: Anyway , I hope all had a wonderful Christmas ! [:

Went there with Cheryl , Wenjie , Roy , Kyrene , Aunty Espy and Aunty Elsie XD We had HELL LOADS of fun there and I don't wanna come back so soon . Sigh . SO SADDENING ]: I would like to post more pictures but my comp is DAMN laggy and I am DEAD TIRED . Haha . You'll know why ltr on . I'll post some pictures anyway . Most of pictures are not in my phone either .

Day 1 : 4th Dec 2008

Met Wenjie and Cheryl at Admiralty MRT station . Took a train down to Changi and we ate our lunch at T3 . After that , we met Roy and his family and we checked in our luggages at T1 . We took off at 1645 and we landed in Hong Kong at 2000 plus .

Temperature was 19*c at touch down time . Was quite cold alrd . We took our shuttle bus to Shangri-La hotel . The hotel was totally awesome ! Best hotel I've ever stayed . The bell boy got our luggages up to the 14th floor and we went up to our room first . Still remembered our room number : 1409 . Haha . By the time we settled in , it was like 10 plus alrd . It was real cold and we had to put on our jacket whenever we got out of our hotel . We decided to walk around our hotel area to familiarise ourselves with the place . Went to have deserts first . Ordered this Watermelon Sago at about Hk$15 / SGD$3 . Damn good [:



After that we walked along Park Lane . But it was like 11pm plus and most of the shops were closed . We then to McDonald to rest and have a bite . Headed back to the hotel after that . Took a bath and went to bed . The worst night I had throughout the trip . Not used to not hugging a bolster . Haha . Fell asleep only after 4am . The rest were so asleep and it was dead silence .. I was the only one awake . Omg , that feeling sucked alot .

Day 2 : 5th Dec 2008

Was 16*c in the morning . DAMN COLD . Haha . We met everyday at 10am and we went to try a typical Hong Kong breakfast .

I ate this set ; bread with butter , 2 eggs , a bowl of noodles and a glass of cold milk ( The hotdog was added in de haha ) . I loved that breakfast . It was so good and it only cost like Hk$25 / SGD$5 and we settled both breakfast and lunch XD After that we went to purchase our very own MTR card / Octopus card ! XD Something like MRT card / ez-link card . We paid Hk$150 / SGD$30 for the card . HK$50 was the deposit .

The MTR was SCARY . No kidding man .. There were god damn loads of ppl and the passengers in the trains were packed like sardines . We took the train down to Mong Kok where the famous ' Ladies Market ' was . We spent the entire afternoon shopping there and the stuffs there were really cheap . But you must know how to bargin as well . Haha . I got a purple converse shoe for HK$140 / SGD$28 and a billabong wallet for HK$90 / SGD$18 . Prices that you'll never find in SG . Got loads of presents too . Our hands were full of bags and we were so tired that we took take a cab back to our hotel to rest . After we rested enough , we went to have dinner at a typical restaurant nearby . Omg , I had this plate of damn salty noodles .. x.x Worst meal there . I felt like I was practically openning a packet of salt and eating it .. Went to ' Mens Market ' after that and I got myself some stuffs . Compared to ' Ladies Market ' , the price was cheaper but there were limited shops and lesser varieties . After ' Mens Market ' , we went to Preudential Shopping Centre . The sports shop was having a clearance sale and I bought myself a Puma jacket at only Hk$220 / SGD$44 !! OMG . I bought my Puma jacket in SG for $88 at Takashimaya .So happy [: Haha . We went back to our hotel to unload our bags and we went down to have coffee at Starbucks just 2 min walk away from our hotel and we planned where to go tmr .

Day 3 : 6th Dec 2008

Temperature was 12*c - 18*c . We had breakfast at the same restaurant as where we had dinner last night . Wanted to go to Victoria Peak today . But the locals said it was very cold . So we decided that we're not properly dressed and we shall go tmr instead . So we went to the Space Museum .

On the way , we even witness something interesting . A guy was actually tugging and pulling a middle-age woman and there were security guards there . The guy was shouting and ranting in cantonese and we don't understand a single word . After that , the adults told us that the woman was actually a theif . LOL .

Anyway , headed to Space Museum . Some videos were quite interesting . Other than that , the museum was quite small and there was nothing much . After that we went to the ' Xing Guang Da Dao ' . It was DAMN COLD there ! Cos the place was just beside the sea and the cold breeze was so cold ~ Took loads of pictures . The place was so beautiful , especially the scenery . We took a break and we had ice-cream . Haha . We're crazy .

Went to Apliu street after that and I bought DVDs !! Bought " Hei Tang Qun Xia Zhuan " , " Ming Zhong Zhu Ding Wo Ai Ni " and " Fan Gun Ba , Dan Chao Fan " at HK$15 / SGD$3 per box set !! The quality isn't that good . But who cares !? Being able to watch is good enough XD After that , we went back to Mong Kok and ' Ladies Market ' to shop for more stuffs . LOL . But Cheryl , Roy and I ended up buying nothing .. Cos we really had nothing to buy and I was like broke . LOL . The previous day at ' Ladies Market ' had already reduced half of my wallet size . Haha . We had dinner at a restaurant near ' Ladies Market ' . Had Curry Chicken rice . The serving was generous and I was hungry cos we skipped lunch , so I finished the enire plate [: Took a cab back to the hotel .

We had a bath and we went down to 7-11 , which was just beside our hotel like 2 min walk away and we got some sanwiches . We decided to wear as little as possible because we'll never experience this in SG . Haha . We all wore shorts , tee and slippers . So freezing cold . We watched TV and ate our sanwiches XD Went to bed after that .

Day 4 : 7th Dec 2008

Temperature was 12*c - 19*c . We had breakfast at Delifrance , which was 5 min walk away from our hotel . After that we went to Victoria Peak ! We took a train down to Central . Central is like tyipcal Far East can ? Many foreign domestic workers were there , and I really mean MANY . While walking to the tram station , we saw a demostration going on . I think it's about the banks and the global financial crisis . There were many protestors and it was scary . LOL .

Walked to the tram station and we purchased our tram and wax museum tickets . Took the tram ride up the mountains for 10 mins . The view was spectacular .. We went to Wax Museum first . It was so much fun there . There was this ' Scary House ' in the wax museum and Cheryl , Wenjie and I decided to try . LOL . DAMN SCARY .. My heart almost came out . Haha . Took many funny pictures with those wax XD

After that , 5 of us , Cheryl , Wenjie , Roy , Kyrene and I went to roam about . Our legs were tired and we decided to rest at Pacific Cafe . We cannot find a seat indoors so we went to sit outdoors . The wind at the top of the mountains was so strong and it was like 10*c ? Haha . Loved the weather . We got some hot chocolate and cakes .



My favourite picture of all time ! We were so cold that we had to put our hoods on . Finished our hot choc and we went to make a wax hand . This can be found in SG too but it was much cheaper in HK . It was so fun and sooooo many ppl were watching us when we're doing the wax hand =.= We met up with the adults and we went to BK to grab a bite . After that , we left Victoria Peak .

We took the MTR to Causeway Bay and we had another round of shopping . After that , we had a big feast at a restaurant XD Went back to Preudential Shopping Centre . Bought a Puma bag at Hk$150 / SGD$30 and a Nike jacket at HK$180 / SGD$36 for my sister . I spent like more than hundred SGD on that sports shop .. But it's relly worth . The price there is so much cheaper compared to SG .. Took a cab back to our hotel after that .

Went to 7-11 as usual after out bath in shorts , tees and slippers . LOL !! We wanted to get milk and the 7-11 beside the hotel does not sell them . The 7-11 was very small and they have limited stuffs . So we went to the 7-11 across the road like 5 min walk . We were freezing and everyone around us were so ' wrapped up ' can ? And we were like ' It's Summer ! ' . LOL . And this day happen to RAIN and we were shivering . But it was so funny . Haha . So many ppl gave us the ' Why-are-they-dressed-like-that-at-this-temperature ' stares . LOL . But we eventually ran back to our hotel after we got our stuffs .. Really too cold alrd .. Finished our food and we went to bed .

Day 5 : 8th Dec 2008

Wasn't a cold day . Temperature was 21*c . But it was quite cool . Had breakfast at Delifrance again . This time , Roy , Cheryl , Wenjie and I didn't want to shop so we decided to split . Four of us shall go to museums while the rest shall go to shop . So .. We're on OUR OWN !

We took a map and we ventured ourselves . We decided to go to the Science Museum but it was only 11am plus and so it wasn't operating yet . So , we reluctantly went to the History Museum . But the History Museum was like so damn cool can !? Recommend to go . Spent a good 2 hours there and we went to the Science Museum . Nothing much there ..

We decided that we won't be returning the Octopus Card because we wanted to keep it so we went to Delifrance on the way back to the hotel to but some food with the card . Went back to the hotel to soak our aching feets and ate those stuffs from Delifrance at the same time . Haha .

After that we met up to go for Dim Sum . But the restaurant was closed .. SAD . So we went to have dinner at another restaurant . After that we took the MTR to Times Sqaure at Causeway Bay . Went back to the hotel and we took our bath and packed a little . After that , we went to carry out our Crazy Mission [; LOL . This was our mission :

Temperature : About 10+++*c
Attire : Shorts , Tee and Slippers
Mission : Walk to the 7-11 further away from our hotel , buy a cup of ice-cream and eat it outside 7-11 .

LOL ! And we did it !

After that we went back to our hotel to get our Doraemon cards and stick some stickers we've got for the ice-creams . LOL !

Every Hk$40 spent at their 7-11 , we get 3 Doraemon stickers . Stick 10 into a card and we can change for a Doraemon character plushie ! We got like 30 + and we wanted everyone to have one so we shopped at 7-11 like mad . LOL ! We bought so many junk food to ton the night . We had frozen Dim Sums , Pizza , Sweets , Chocs and loads of chips . We wanted to fill 5 cards with 50 stickers . But we over bought and we ended up spending HK$300 / SGD$60 at 7-11 .. We got 59 stickers in the end ! We are short of 1 to fill 6 cards . This 7-11 guy was so nice . We asked him fo a sticker and he actually gave it to us ! Yayness !

But we didn't know it was random and we cannot choose our characters . LOL sad . After that , we microwaved our dim sums and pizza and we ran back to our hotel to make sure that our food don't get cold . Haha .

We packed our luggages real fast and we gathered in our room to eat . Ended up having a ' slumber party ' . LOL ! Reading magazines , gossiping about celebrities , talking about ' shuai ges ' .. Haha . And Roy was so funny larh . He knows very little about entertainment gossips and news and he was talking nonsence and crap , making us laugh XD

Day 6 : 9th Dec 2008

Wanted to ton the night . But we fell asleep at 3am plus and we woke up at 5am plus , going to 530am . We were so late .. Cos we need to meet at 545am at the hotel lobby . Rushed and we managed to check out on time and we took the shuttle bus to the airport . Managed to see the sun rise behind the mountains at the airport ! It was so nice ..


That's the sun-rise we witness [: Taken outside HK's airport after we alighted from the bus .

Checked in our luggages and we took our 0915 plane back to SG . Back at Changi , we took a cab home .

Sooooooooo tired . LOL . Only slept for 2 hours . Realised that we didn't go Disneyland ? LOL ! Kyrene didn't want to go , Roy and I hate rides and we decided not to go . Didn't really regret cos I really don't take rides and it will be a waste of money . The only regret I had was not able to try authentic HK dim sums ]: SAD . Also , to those who like to shop for clothes , this isn't a good time to shop for clothes in HK or other countries that experience winter . Everywher is selling winter wear ! It would be usless to buy right ? COS CANNOT USE IN THIS HOT AND HUMID SG ! LOL . So I went home without a single piece of new clothing [:

OH YES ! My lips cracked so bad and I had a heat rash or wadever .. Not used to the sudden weather change ]: The humidity difference is quite high .. Humindity in SG in the afternoon is 80% while humidity in HK in the afternoon was only 40% plus . My skin cracked too ! GRRR . So sad that the 6 days ended so soon ]':
