A new phase in life

It has become a habit that I only update once a month or so :/ Oh well.Anyway, it is soon a week since I left ACR - and I actually feel kinda sad. Which is rather weird. Time really flies. I still remember at the start of the year, I was complaining how horrendous this job was and then in a blink, everything is over. This is probably my longest lasting job ever. And I am really glad I've gotten a job here. I've met so many nice people. I am gonna super duper miss my pantry clique and the running club people. But I make it a point to go back every week for my training with the running club. At least, I get to see my colleagues and catch up. Oh! I have to say this, I am super duper excited because I managed to register myself for The Color Run 2013 next month! :D It was such a last minute decision and my colleagues and I were like booking it in the office after lunch lol. And then an hour later, everything was sold out. We were pretty lucky. I have been working out a lot lately. Gym, swimming, running blablabla. But I am also eating a lot lol. Slowly convincing myself that it's impossible to lose weight and that I should just focus on maintaining my weight - since my BMI is healthy. So... it has been a week since my "unemployment" and yeah, I have been spending my time pretty wisely. I went to the gym on Monday, and then on Tuesday I ran for the first time after a month. Gosh, 2.41KM and I dropped. Oh and I was really happy on Tuesday too because Kim, drove Cheryl, Wenjie I for some ice-cream at Dempsey followed by food and beer at Keppel Island :) moving car, music, beer, food, great company... perfect :) ... ok and then on Wednesday, I went swimming with the same people and then we went for a super random K session after that. Yesterday, I was also with the same people and we went to town to do some shopping but we somehow ended up eating so much more than shopping haha. And then it's today, I am going for a movie with my group of annoying friends :) Oh yes, and I am so proud of myself. I went down to Yishun this morning to grab tickets for tonight's show and then I ran all the way back from Yishun to Admiralty non-stop. It was like 5.41KM and I took 40.51mins ( including the time I jogging on the spot like an idiot at a few traffic lights ). Still slow. I need to finish 5KM in 30mins. That's my goal before The Color Run. And I am gonna train super hard. Okie, time to prepare to meet my homies :) Till the next time. xx
