9 DAYS IN AUSSIE

Hey~ back from my 9 days trip in Aussie. Well, this blog is goanna be really lonnnng and take up some time. Enjoy :)Itinerary frm 4th dec - 13th dec ` 4th Dec Yea, tj and sm went tgt with me to the airport. Thanks guys :) After that, checked in and we went to chat at jollibean. Met the rest and we went to the custom. Spent about an hour and we took off. Took off at 9:30pm. Well, my ears didn't hurt that much. Probably uncomfortable... Did nothing in the plane besides; watch tv, eat, slp, listen to music and ~ 8 hrs past (: We reached Brisbane! 4am in Brisbane is like 7am in S'pore. We saw the sun already . 5th Dec Touched down at 7:30am Brisbane GTM+10. Diners came to pick us to The Southport School. 18 degree celsius at that time. Was quite cold. Reached TSS after thzt. The school is so big sia. It was similar to S'pore sports school. TSS is a boarding school and trains students in sports. Bad news came for me after that, we were suppose to sleep alone in a room in the dorms. Sigh... Went to the dorms and unpacked our luggage. After that went to supermarket and bought some groceries and we went to eat at a Japanese Restaurant. What else next... Robots. Went back to TSS and started to build our robots and practicing them by dismetaling them, building them, dismental build, until we are familiar with it. 6th Dec We went to slp at 2am and woke up at around 5am to prepare for the competition. Unfortunately, everyone was slacking and we did not perform for the 2 events on that day. Came out of the competition hall and we went back. Competition days are short yea, most of them happen in the hall and all about robots. The teachers spoke nothing because they said we were tired and we all went to sleep at around 8pm. 7th Dec Woke up at 2am and went to Miss Sum's room. Got a very very very long scolding there and it woke up our senses. We were all questioned one by one and sent to the balcony one by one to refelct. It was so cold when we were reflecting at the balcony. After we reflected , we came out and apologised to the teachers. So , we worked so hard through the night and the next morning, we went to the competition hall . This time we were late. We thought it will start at 10am like ytd but it ended up starting at 9am. But we were lucky and the competition was also delayed and we started at 10am. Full 3 hours. Guess what? Surprise! We completed the race! Jian Li's robot! Went back and had our dinner then went to sleep. 8th Dec Robots through the night, woke up and went to competition hall again. Never complete the mission for today. Went back and had some sense talking. After that we went to Fish on Ferry and saw Hai Sing there. Regreted not bringing my jacket because it is so cold! Anyway, thanks Wei Hao for lending me your jacket. Went back to dorm and had a very good sleep alas. 9th Dec Met at 7am nicely dressed in our uniforms and jacket at the main hall. The guys looked so mature in long pants. Haha. Had an attire check and we went to the hall for Prize Giving. We went there with a heavy heart... But, we won 3rd in Obstacle Race and Excellence in Technology! Hahas. Shocked at first sia. Jia Ren, Jian Li and I went to collect the medals. It feels so good holding the national flag in our hands when we went to receive our medals =D Went out of the hall and went to the river after the ceremony ended. We went to the river bank to take some group photos. The bus didn't come anyway, took a cab to Carlton. 3 sec jump 10 cents. Ironic? Well, cause in Aussie, many ppl own a car so yea, taxi is not easy to make money. Made 2 Korean Friends and 1 Chinese friend during the 'exchange program'. Picked up our stuffs from TSS and we went to Carlton. Mr Sam brought us to rusty pelican at night to have lobster for dinner. But we ate KFC and we ordered kids meal cos we were full. After that the told us that this was a reward for the award. LOL! 10th Dec Today Mr Neo is going back to S'pore le :'( cos he needs to go to Orlando on the 13th. So, we specially woke up at 6am and we brought him to Carrara Market, a place whereby stuffs are cheap. Took a bus there and it was so cool. I didn't have small notes and with and Mr Neo paid the tix for me (: Thanks Mr Neo. Reached Carrara Market and had breakfast there. Walked a few rounds there and we left to send Mr Neo back to Carlton and he left for the airport. After that we met Mr Sam and went to Carrara again. Bought loads of stuffs this time. Headed back to Carlton after that. Went to surfers paradise but Xin Hui, Jian Li and I wore shoes so we were not able to feel the sea waters. but I felt the soft sands there. Ok, the soft sand here is purly sand. No twigs wadsoever like ECP yea. Kinda think that ECP is real dirty. The water there is so clean! Anyway, it was freezing there and I again regreted not bring my jacket! =.= But the guys there are gentlemens (: Thank you Jian Li for your jacket but is was huge. Haha. Headed back to have a meal at a Korean Restaurant with Mr Sam. Wei Hao was tired and never join us. Went to Timezone after that. Played like a bunch of crazy idiots never been to TZ. Thier games there are awesome yea! We had a mini golf there. Haha. Oh ya, the laser game is totally awesome! 11th Dec Woke up and 8am and took the bus at 9am and went to National Park. Saw some turkey and blueberries on the ground. The Nataional Park is beatiful. Saw the stream and waterfall. Came out of the park and we drove past a shade that sells the best bananas. That's what they said... LOL. Bought some anyway. The road to New South Wales was really beautiful. Saw loads of farms with horses and cows... I would't mind staying there. Went to Byron Bay after that in New South Wales, Sydney. 2 hours drive from Brisbane to Sydney. Ate the hazelnut homemade ice-cream which is so delicious! Went to the oldest light house and we proceeded to the bridge to see of we are lucky. Heard that during this period of time, dolphins will magrate. We stood there for a while and saw 12 dolphins. OMG. Thats the best day man. They drove us to the mainroad and we had 2 hours. Went to Fishheads to have seafood. The lobster noodles is damn good. Saddening. Did not have to time to go to the Byron shore. Went to space walker after that. One of a tourist attraction in Aussie. Jia Ren cried at the last stage whereby all the aliens came out. LOLs~! 12th Dec The day I have been awating! DREAMWORLD! got some sanwich ready and we left for Dreamworld. First stop, we sat the boat ride or smt. Can't rmb the names. We got a lil wet. Hehe. After that, I think I am crazy or my mind is nt working properly, I agreed to sit the Giant Drop. Yea, I must be insane. Btw, Giant drop is 8 ppl sitting in a row. It will lift you up 39 stories, 119m tall, let you see the senery and 20 secs, 3, 2, 1 off you go. Just released you and you will come back to earth in 6 secs. Played the log game after that and Miss Sum told us about Ke Qi at Bangkok Dreamworld. LOL. We were all soaked after the log game anyway. After that, we went to feed the kangeroos and the sheeps. They are soooo cute! Shopping after that at Dreamworld. Then at night, we went to treat Mr Sam lobster. Sigh, we all got rejected. What an emotional night... Anyway, wanted to go to Billabong as well to get some things. Also rmb Ke Qi saying she wanted Billabong stuffs. But it was closed. Sad. Did not get any Billabong products at all. Goodness. 13th Dec Wei Hao came our room at 6am. Which, we planed to meet and go to surfers paradise. Don't know why I went back to sleep and so he went back too. Sorry guys, didn't meant to do that, I was in a daze. Woke up at 8:30am eventually and packed our luggages and clear the stuffs in our apartments. Boarded the bus and we reached the airport. Went to get 2 musical tuners and a boomerang and we boarded the plane soon after. Thanks Wei Hao for letting me sit the window seat :) Wahahaha. I bully him. Same things in the flight. But I felt like vomiting when touching down. I can't take the presure then. Saw sg4 there. LOL! SO TOUCHED =D Ok, actually there are really LOADS MORE. Oh yea, Aussie RULES. It was like I am so used to the life there. The temperature, the people, the shops, the food. I simply miss the place now. I was so used to the money there that this morning, I can't even recognise a 5 cent coin. You know the money there is so cool. Their 5 cents is like Sing 10 cents. Thats all, got to get ample sleep, tmr need go school. missing aussie lyfe .. :[
